We have our second appointment with the SDA on Monday afternoon. Please continue to pray that we are shown the file for our son and that we know when we see it. We are not sure what the outcome of the meeting will be, but we are confident that God is still in control of our situation.

Still feeling homesick, but getting accustomed to living here in Ukraine. Thank you to our friends and family for keeping us up-to-date on what's going on at home, and thank you to our online blogging friends for the wonderful words of advice and the restaurant ideas.

Here are a few more pictures of desserts we've eaten.
(Yes, we do more than just eat dessert here!)

It just makes me hungry reading your blog!
My thoughts and prayers are with you guys... it is hard reading these other blogs lately where folks are coming home without their child/ren... I am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that your child is ready and waiting!
Hugs!
Amy
Yea - Monday!!!
Yum! Can I have a taste of that one.
We will keep the prayers lifted! Hoping the file of your little man awaits your discovery on Monday! Have a wonderful weekend eating more sweets, sight-seeing and sleeping!

Yea. Monday!I was so sad to read your friends update in the Ukraine. I am praying for you guys. Enjoy this time together sightseeing. The desserts look yummy! God Bless, Celeste
My Ukraine dessert advice:
Just because it looks good doesn't mean it tastes good.
Some desserts don't taste good no matter how much alcohol it has been soaked in.
Praying for a successful appointment on Monday.
Steve
I will be praying all weekend for your divine appointment!
Have you tried the chocolate/lemon swirl icecream in the center of Independence square? Or the KBAC (near beer)?...You almost make me want to be there now...
good news on a quick 2nd appt. All our prayers are with you. I am going to have some chocolate chip cookies for breakfast --- hum I wonder who gave me the idea for a few sweets! Monica
Best wishes and prayers for a successful SDA appointment on Monday!
We are coming. We wouldn't miss it for the world. Thanks for your comments. It is very helpful to hear from the ones that have been there and from the ones who are there now. Thank you again.
Tammy
Oops, left my comment on your last post by accident! I just know that tomorrow will be a special day for you and everyone that loves you.
Keep us posted!

It's 0730 there on Monday morning. I am thinking of you and praying your appointment leads you to your son!
Good Luck!
Lisa
You must stop with the desserts - no fair! :) :)
Praying heartily that the appointment went well and you are moving forward. Anxious to hear.
Now you need to leave comments on the desserts:)
I agree with Steve. Just because it looks good, doesn't meant it tastes good.
