One year ago today we met Wesley for the first time! In some ways it seems like a lifetime ago and in others it feels like yesterday. We haven't been able to get any feeding therapy yet, but we're working on it. I pray that this time next year I can say that he is mostly eating on his own...
-------
Here's a few pictures for comparison on what a difference a year can make. The one thing that strikes me is how much taller he is! Wes has grown over 8 inches and put on 17 pounds (doubling his weight), which is a lot for one year.

Staci he has grown so much. He is a real cutie. I gather you are having a difficult time with eating with him. Otherwise how is he doing? I think of your family often. Thank you for the update.
I so enjoy following your blog!!! Eventhough, we have never met I just think you are such terrific, loving, kind, beautiful people. Your son is such a cutie. May God bless you!
He's growing so fast. Congrats on reaching the one year mark :)
Wow! What a difference. He is so cute and looks so healthy. You love has done him good! Amazing what a year in good home will do.

Unbelieveable! He has grown and changed so much! Can it really be a year already?! Wow! Congrats on the one year mark! :)
What a handsome Wesley!!! Obviously, you are feeding him well even though he is not eating on his own. I will say many extra prayers that you get eating therapy for him soon. I know what a difference it has made for little Luke who had his 2 marrow transplants at Cincy. At 3 he is finally beginning to eat.
He has really grown and is losing that baby look!
What a handsome youngster he is!!
Unbelievable that it was a year ago! And he has gotten so much bigger! Blessings!
It's so amazing how different he looks! You can just see it in his eyes that he's a little boy who knows all about love now. He looks so sad in that first picture and now he is such a joyful looking little guy!
